I booked with Indian Rides to tour the Himalayas due to a friends recommendation. I am so glad I chose Indian Rides over others I was considering.

The whole trip was amazing with beautiful scenery of Himalayas. What made it special was Gopika and Narendra. They are motorcycle enthusiasts themselves and that's what made the trip truly exceptional. They offer a level of service and personal touch that can't be surpassed. Nothing was too much. For example, I switched from Bullet 500 to Himalaya 450 after a day and Narendra had to pull all the strings to make it happen on the spot. It felt riding with friends rather than a company. That's what made it special. Being a local Indian company also meant they had a very detailed knowledge of the routes and local sights to see and how to avoid the overly tourist hotspots. The routes were truly exceptional with varied riding from hairpin bends, sweeping roads, light offloading. Every day riding was slightly different than day before.

I would definitely go with them again in a heart beat.

I spent a wonderful two weeks touring the Himalayas in Ladakh with Indian Rides. They are a small local company so you benefit from their local knowledge and personal touch. Our guide Narendra, who has excellent local knowledge of the area, couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great trip. We were also supported by a 4x4 truck carrying all our gear and mechanic (Ram) who quickly resolved any minor issues we had. They both quickly became our friends and not just guides. The scenery was amazing, every day brought different landscapes and vistas. The quality of the roads were surprisingly good, well maintained and hours of perfect riding, chicanes and hairpins. I wouldn't hesitate to use Indian Rides again and would recommend them to anyone wanting to experience a motorcycle trip in India.

What an experience… genuinely one of those trips that sticks with you long after you’re home. We did the Southern India tour back in 2024 with Indian Rides and that too was absolutely stunning....another trip to add to your bucket list.

From the moment we landed in Delhi and drive over to Mandawa - Rajasthan, everything was dialled in — the organisation, the routes, the bikes, the accommodation — all spot on. But what really makes Indian Rides stand out is the experience beyond the riding - the people.

You’re not just ticking off miles… you’re thrown right into the heart of India. One minute you’re carving through open desert roads, the next you’re rolling through villages, dodging camels, cows, tuk tuks and absolute chaos — and loving every second of it.

The team were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, always on hand, always calm, always making sure everything ran smoothly. You feel looked after without it ever feeling over-managed.

Highlights? Too many…

Riding through Rajasthan’s wild landscapes
The madness (in a good way) of Indian roads
Incredible food and proper local experiences
The people — welcoming, friendly, and always smiling

And then the unexpected moments… visiting places you’d never normally see, getting a real insight into how people live — humbling and eye-opening.

It’s not a luxury “sit back and relax” holiday… it’s an adventure. Proper, raw, unforgettable, cant recommend it enough - its life changing in a good way - it humbles you.

If you’re even slightly considering it — just book it. You won’t regret it.

One life. Live it.

Just got back from an incredible 3-week trip through India with Indian Rides and can’t recommend them enough!

From riding through Rajasthan and exploring amazing cities like Jaipur and Udaipur to seeing the Taj Mahal, every day was unforgettable. The absolute highlight was celebrating Holi – the Festival of Colours – in Mandawa. The atmosphere, colours, music, and local experience made it truly once-in-a-lifetime.

Everything was so well organised, with a fantastic team that made the whole journey smooth, fun, and stress-free.

If you’re looking for a unique mix of adventure and culture, this trip is a must!

A huge thank you to the Indian Rides family – especially Narendra and his team – for making this such a special experience.

Having toured extensively in Europe as a rider and pillion, we were told by our sons to try something outside of our comfort zone. So we decided to try India.
After researching we chose Indian Rides as they specialise in tours of India. The communication with Gopika was clear, helpful and reassuring.
We have just returned from their tour of Rajasthan including the Holi Festival of Colours. An experience not to be missed!
We were made very welcome and any initial fears we may have had were quickly dispelled. The tour immerses you straight into the culture of India, seeing Forts, Palaces and also the real local life in the villages. Narendra our tour group leader is passionate about showing all aspects of Indian culture.
Riding a variety of roads, experiencing open country side and bustling towns ending each day in a very comfortable hotel each one unique often a converted Palace or Havelli.
The support team of Indian Rides consisting of Ramu driving the backup vehicle and Parvesh the mechanic were outstanding adding an extra dimension to the tour, we miss them already!
India is a fantastic country and the people are among the happiest we have ever met, everyone is interested in you and always willing to help.
This tour gave us so many experiences and great memories that we will never forget. Hope to see you soon on an Indian Rides tour.

Traversing India on a Royal Enfield Bullet has been a long held dream of ours (mine and my wife’s). If you have a passion for overseas motorcycle touring, exploring India in this way is such a wonderful adventure and experience. The comfortable relaxed feel and sound of the Bullet is in perfect harmony with the rythm of India and enhances the enjoyment of experiencing the many varied sights and sounds of this amazing country as you ride through the towns, villages and countryside. We have just returned from our second trip with Indian Rides (firstly Rajasthan and then the Spice Route) and can’t fault the way Narendra, Shakti and Gopika organise and manage the tour - always looking after your safety, security and for that matter, any other needs you may have, which allows you to enjoy the adventure to the maximum without having to worry or even think about the logistics of what you are doing in a land where the culture and way of life can be so different from your very own. The people of India are so accepting, welcoming and friendly that each time upon our return we yearn for that experience again. Already thinking about planning for our third trip with Indian Rides - a different route, maybe the Himalayas next time.

The road brings you closer to the real India.

For over 20 years, Indian Rides has led small groups across Rajasthan’s desert roads, Ladakh’s high mountain passes, Gujarat’s western landscapes and the tropical roads of South India.

Travel on a Royal Enfield with an experienced guide, a dedicated mechanic and a backup vehicle close by. We leave room for the stops no itinerary can predict, because India is often at its most memorable between one destination and the next.

Beyond Roads, Into India.
